How to get started and payment options for Information Consulting Projects

• Contact us by email or phone with a general idea of your information and project needs. Please supply your email and phone contact information.
• We will either phone or email you back and we may email you a Project Request form for you to supply further details on your requirements.
• We will then determine our estimate of the work required to complete your research and email it to you within 48 business day hours of our receipt of your written request.
• If you accept our estimate please email an approval. You may call us at any time during the process to ask questions or get further details but work will not start until an estimate approval email is received.
• If after beginning the project we determine that it will take greater than 10% longer than the original estimate, we will come back to you again for an emailed approval to continue.
• For any information consulting project expected to cost more than $500.00, 30% of the cost must be paid upfront before work will commence. This can be done by forwarding a check to the business address on the estimate.
• Itemized invoices will be sent at the conclusion of the project for all remaining fees and payment is due by check within 30 days of the invoice.

Fees for Virtual Assistance or Event Assistance

The rate schedule for these services will range from $35.00 to $55.00 per hour depending on the nature and complexity of the service provided. For Event work a daily or per event rate can be negotiated.

Fees for Information Consulting

Our general rate schedule follows and the hourly rates apply for the research and documentation or reporting:

• Level One deliverable-a simple return of facts with their sources.            $40.00 per hour
• Level Two deliverable-more extensive or complicated research, more detailed analysis and more extensive documentation                                                                                               $55.00-65.00 per hour
• Level Three deliverable- A Gap analysis or vendor/product comparison study    $100.00 per hour

Any additional expenses incurred that might include costs for specific data retrieval or any travel expenses required for researching at a specific source greater than 20 miles from our business location, will be itemized and added to your final invoice.

On going or larger projects can be negotiated at a daily, weekly or monthly rate or on a per project rate.

Final report or documentation can be delivered via First Class Mail, Fed Ex, email or hand delivered if agreed upon in advance and the distance is not greater than 50 miles from our business site.

Fees for Proofreading and Document Preparation

These can be negotiated by the project,by the page, or by the hour.

Fees for Business Consulting

Rates for business consulting projects are determined by evaluating the complexity and duration of the project.  There is no charge for the initial consultation by phone or on site interview, however a portion of the anticipated cost will be expected upfront. Rates will be quoted on a daily, "on retainer" or project basis and payment will be by check.  Please contact us to discuss your needs.
